Located in Boulder Colorado, Chili Interactive was founded by Lyn Bain to help companies of all sizes build exceptional products. After years of working together on various projects, Nate Hall officially came on board in 2004 to expand Chili's design and implementation services.
Lyn has more than 17 years experience in product design and development. She specializes in bringing complex products and new technologies to market.
From patented messaging user interface designs, award-winning home security and automation systems, and web sites for global corporations, Lyn has a proven track record of creating usable, useful, and desirable user experiences. Her early work on IVR systems helped establish the industry user interface design standards that are still in use today. At the 2001 Consumer Electronics Show, TechTv nominated two products that Lyn worked on for Best in Show. In 1999, one of her products won a Laureate Medallion from the ComputerWorld Honors program and is on display at the Smithsonian Institute. She has been awarded 3 patents for various product designs.
Lyn spends her non-work time snowboarding, rock climbing, practicing yoga, and running the trails around Boulder. She also devotes time to nonprofit organizations like the Human Rights Campaign, Honor the Earth, and Heifer International.
Nate brings over 9 years of experience in New Media design and implementation to Chili Interactive. His skillset ranges from front-end design and complex database driven systems to multimedia and digital video production.
Nate is excited to contribute his online design and development expertise to Chili and continue his long working relationship with Lyn. Through his career, Nathan has held director level positions at several high-tech firms in Colorado, leading their interactive media teams and helping grow business. In 2000, he successfully started his own production company where he wrote, produced and directed two award winning films. His third feature length project, “The Vessel”, is slated for a fall 2005 release.
When not tied to the computer or out on a film shoot, Nathan enjoys taking to the mountains for skiing and mountain biking. In college, Nathan was a nationally ranked member of the University of Colorado Freestyle Ski Team, and has since become involved in regional mountain bike competitions. In 1998, Nathan's website for the Winter Sports Foundation was featured in the Sports Illustrated Winter Olympic issue, bringing his competitive and interactive career together.
